Martin’s world-class luthiers have crafted the new HD-28 MP with a Sitka spruce top to Madagascar rosewood back and sides, and wrapped it in Martin’s legendary herringbone inlay. Beautiful Madagascar rosewood is the nearest in appearance and sound to it’s close cousin, the revered, and expensive, Brazilian rosewood. The HD-28 MP is Martin’s classic HD-28 paired with a modern-style neck, inspired by the new Martin Performing Artist Series. The neck is joined to the body with the traditional dovetail joint, and is slender all the way to the body of the guitar, offering the player sleek and smooth playability over the entire fingerboard. Perfect for the intermediate and advanced player, the HD-28MP is great for playing Bluegrass, Folk, Country and Pop music.
